• the batkids (mostly dick and tim, but cass and damian have their fair share of participation) definitely appear on magazines all the time. Interviews, photoshots, articles, quizzes (“which one of these three Wayne siblings is your soulmate?” “Are you team Wayne or team Queen?”) and probably even ads.
• every batkid, especially the ones that don’t appear on magazines unless they’re a blurry extra on the background of party pictures and stuff, definitely collect said magazines and make fun of the others for the pictures or things they said on interviews.
• they definitely also compete to see who has more magazines with their siblings/batfriends(?) on them. Who has the oldest ones. The weirdest ones. The most embarrasing ones.
• Bruce definitely walks into the batcave one day to see them fighting because according to Dick he has the biggest collection. But Stephanie is shaking her head and saying she has definitely more. Tim and Harper are indignantly trying to tell them how wrong both of them are. Duke and Jason seem to be on the wrong place at the wrong time. Damian and Cass are already training on the back, ignoring their siblings and co.
• Bruce definitely clears his throat, and when everyone shuts up he deliberately walks towards the batcomputer desk, and pulls a box out of one of the biggest compartments.
• Bruce definitely opens the box to reveal every single damn magazine any of his kids had appeared on. Yes Duke, that’s Jason with me at a gala on that cover. Yes Dick, of course I kept that magazine with your first interview. No Jason, Tim doesn’t look like a nerd here. No Damian, that picture of you, Cass and Stephanie in the street is not an embarrassment. Now, stop fighting each other for this, because as you can see none of you can even begin to compete against me, and let’s go back to training.
